Normandy, a place of war and death, forgotten. Known more as a tourist attraction now, rather than the battlezone it once was in history. A discussion on capitalism and double dipping on the economy. First, the amount of money spent on war. Second, the amount of money made turning a warzone into a tourist attraction.
A digital work of art, created to resemble an old film photograph. Two photos from the actual beaches of Normandy, combined into one. In the background, soldiers in focus landing on the beaches. The foreground, children playing in the sand of modern day Normandy. Child on the left, baring a helmet as a beach toy; in that instance, both worlds collide.
